The Romanian photographer detained on December 1, in Mexico is expected to return home
The Romanian photographer arrested on December  1, in Mexico was acquitted of criminal charges and would return home on December 27. Mircea TOPOLEANU was released along the  69 people arrested during the protests organized upon the investiture of the new Mexican president.

The Romanian argued   that he was not taking  part in the protest, but that he was merely taking pictures..

 

Mircea TOPOLEANU sister protested for days , along with other relatives  of those arrested,  at the gates of the  prison where his brother was detained  before being released   .
