Romanian crew Camelia Lupaşcu and Nicoleta Albu have won on Sunday the gold medal at the European rowing Championships in Varese, informs the official website of the competition.
Lupaşcu and Albu were timed with 7 minutes, 14 seconds and 49 hundredths. Runners up were ranked Great Britain (7:18.65) and Croatia (7:18.91).
Maria Diana Badger and Adelina Cojocariu won the bronze medal timed with 7.03:67 minutes, while the first two positions were occupied by Belarus (6:58.94) and Italy (7:02.20).
Marius-Vasile Cozmiuc, George Palamariu, Cristi-Ilie Pârghie and Florin Curuea, the silver men team, recorded 5:57.37, with the Greek team as gold winner and Serbian ranking 3rd.
