Thursday, Prime Minister Victor Ponta said, after the CCR decision, that it was a fair decision and announced that the government's intention is to fully respect this decision.
"We fully respect this decision, as we respect and the civic commitment and exemplary mobilization shown by Romanians, in a time when democratic mechanisms and procedures demanded them to make their voices heard by voting", stated premier Victor Ponta, according to Agerpres agency.
The CCR requested the Government that until August 31 to send the updated electoral lists used for the referendum on July 29.
