There are 70,000 Muslims in Romania. Some have lived here for hundreds of years, some for decades. Little has been written about them before the radical Islam had frighten the world. „Adevărul“ started a campaign that aims to reveal the true face of the Muslims in Romania. I entered their homes and mosques, to see how they live, how they pray and how these people think that we hasten to label them so easily. We have found Romanians who have converted to Islam and who live on amidst Christian families. I talked to businessmen and religious leaders, people who set up Islamic foundations, and have built mosques. I went in Dobrogea to see how Muslims live in the historical community and what's left of their habits. We tried to understand what it means to be Muslim in Romania today.
