Royal House of Romania REACTION to  the news that Princess Irina was arrested
King Mihai I and the entire royal family hopes that the U.S justice and  the Oregon courts will settle in the most just and quickest way possible the case of  Princess Irina, reads a statement issued after the Princess and her husband were arrested for organizing illegal  cockfights.Heavy blow to the Royal House of Romania. Princess Irina, daughter of  king Mihai I,  got arrested

"His Majesty King Mihai  I took note  with deep sorrow about the events related to Princess Irina of Romania, his daughter. His Majesty and the Royal Family hopes that the  American  justice system and the Oregon State courts will settle this case in the most just and in the quickest way possible, "reads a  press release sent  to Mediafax Fridays by the  Press Office of His Majesty King Mihai I.

King Mihai  I  is hoping that that the presumption of innocence be applied, "as it is legal and moral, from the beginning to the end of this unfortunate event," reads the statement. 

John Walker, aged 67, used to be a police sergeant in Myrtle Point, and from  August 1, 1998 he worked for the sheriff's office in Coos County. He left his post on June  30,  2003, and for the last 10  years nothing is clear as to the activity he conducted. In 2007, Walker married Irina Kreuger, daughter of King Mihai and Queen Ana. Princess Irina, aged 60 years, was born and raised in Switzerland and moved to Oregon in 1983.
