Romania can pride itself with one of the most beautiful waterfalls on the planet. The U.S. site dedicated to "geographical wonders" ranks it as such.
It is referring to the Bigar waterfall from the natural park with the same name, located in the Anina Mountains in Caras-Severin.
Underground river waters suddenly come to the surface to fall down from a height of 200 meters, dispersed in a very fine film over the rocks
The World Geography ranks Bigăr waterfalls among the eight “unique” waterfalls around the world. The author adds that these wonders are, still, very little known by people.
