The PDL leader said that the people in Roman " have the patience to know you and to listen to you" and who "do not judge by words but by deeds." "I am much closer to the spirit of Roman than to the hustle and bustle of Bucharest spirit today," said the former minister.
Udrea said that she participated Saturday night at the service ceremony dedicated to St, Parascheva at the Archiepiscopate, mentioning that she was anointed by the Archbishop of Roman, Ioachim Băcăoanul
"I am taking these things as signs. It is not a random choice I made, to come to Roman," Udrea said.
She said she wanted to give back to the Roman town its "former glory" so that the municipality became "a religious, cultural and commercial center".
Asked in the press conference if he was jealous of the Roman’s mayor because Elena Udrea had chosen to run for Parliament in this town , the mayor of Piatra Neamt, Gheorghe Ştefan answered that indeed he was jealous of Dan Laurentiu Leoreanu.
