UK wants to keep Romanians out. Here are the measures they are taking
The British Prime Minister David Cameron is considering enforcing   a series of measures to prevent immigrants from the EU to "take advantage" of  the  social welfare in Britain before lifting labor market restrictions for Bulgarians and Romanians from  January, 2014.

The Premier reviewed a series of measures to reduce the factors that attract immigrants to the UK, including increasing the time period between arrival in the country and the time  they may require social assistance, according to Financial Times online edition.

Cameron's advisers have denied suggestions affirming   that this period could be extended from three months to a year, but confirmed that they  considering tightening the rules.

Some of the proposed reforms could be included in the government bill on immigration, while others may be integrated  in the  renegotiations  of EU laws proposed by Cameron before the referendum planned for 2017.
