EU Commissioner for Justice, Fundamental Rights and Citizenship, Viviane Reding, has expressed her "concern" about  the recent developments in the fight against corruption in Romania.

Viviane Reding said that recent legislative measures adopted in Bucharest will be reviewed in January.

“We are very worried in the way things are developing in the bad direction in the anti-corruption front,” Viviane Reding stated according to  EUObserver, before the MEPs in the parliament's civil liberties committee.
